Q: Do you deliver the boat?

A: We will deliver the boat anywhere on Conesus Lake. Please confirm cottage has available dock space, a 22+ foot                    pontoon can be tied up safely and securely in the space.

 

Q: Is fuel included in the price?

A: No, fuel used during the rental is your responsibility. The following will be charged if the pontoon is returned with less fuel than           noted at initial time of rental. (40.00 per ¼ tank of non-ethanol gasoline)

          1/4 tank - $30

          1/2 tank - $60

          3/4 tank - $90

          Full tank - $120

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: We will refund your deposit if you notify us at least 30 days in advance of your rental starting date.

Q: Do I need a NYS boating safety certificate?

A: Rental Boats are exempt, you may rent a pontoon without a certificate, however we highly recommend you take a qualifying               course (available online) prior to rental. Completion of the NYS Boaters Safety Certificate Online course is highly recommended         prior to rental as everyone is required to have completed to operate a vessel in New York State per Brianna's Law.                                Demonstration how to operate and navigate safely will be provided at time of rental.

Brianna's Law requires all motorboat operators to complete a boating safety course 

Under the phase-in, all motorboat operators: 

born on or after Jan. 1, 1993 must complete a safety course beginning in 2020

born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 must complete a safety course beginning in 2022

born on or after Jan. 1, 1983 must complete a safety course beginning in 2023

born on or after Jan. 1, 1978 must complete a safety course beginning in 2024

The requirement extends to all motorboat operators beginning in 2025, regardless of age
